These Terms are a binding agreement between you and TheOther Intelligence LLC ("we," "us," "our") governing your use of Oria AI, including our website and mobile app (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.
Oria AI is a personal AI companion that helps you understand and organize your life experience using data you choose to connect. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features or the Service with notice where appropriate.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of consent in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. If you create an account, you agree to provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You may not: violate laws or others' rights; upload harmful or objectionable content; impersonate others; interfere with the Service or attempt unauthorized access; or use the Service to build competing products. You are responsible for ensuring any data you connect is properly authorized.
The Service and its design, features, and content (other than content you provide) are owned by us and protected by law. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our Service without permission. You keep ownership of your content; you grant us a limited license to use it to provide and improve the Service. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except where we must retain it by law.
Some features may require a paid subscription. Terms, pricing, and billing will be disclosed at purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. Fees are generally non-refundable except as required by law or our stated policy. We may change prices with advance notice.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. Our insights and AI features are for informational purposes only and are not professional medical, financial, legal, or psychological advice. Do not rely on them solely for important decisions.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR AFFILIATES ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF DATA OR PROFITS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, and expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party's rights.
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, engage in fraud or illegal activity, or as required by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. We may retain data as required by law or to enforce these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States (and the state of our principal place of business) without regard to conflict of laws. Disputes will be resolved through informal good-faith efforts first; otherwise through binding arbitration or in the courts as permitted by law. You waive the right to participate in class actions where permitted by law.
The Service uses third-party large language model providers—including OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google—to power its AI features. When you use these features, certain data (such as your conversation messages and connected data you have authorized) may be transmitted to these providers to generate responses. By consenting to the use of AI features within the app, you acknowledge and agree to this data transmission. You may withdraw consent at any time through the app's settings.
The Service may also integrate with other third-party services. Your use of any third-party service is subject to its own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services. For more details on what data is shared and how it is protected, see our Privacy Policy.
We may modify these Terms. We will post the updated Terms and update the "Last Updated" date. Material changes may be communicated by email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
